Louis Zeff, Detroit attorney for
Features Masada
44 years, with offices in the Cadil-
lac Tower, died Tuesday at age 69.
Mr. Zeff, 660 Whitmore, was a
partner in the firm of Zeff and Zeff
and a member of the Wayne County
and Michigan State bar associa-
tions. A graduate of the Detroit
College of Law, he was a member
of the Cong. Shaarey Zedek and its
men's club and Town and Country
Club. Jerusalem-born, Mr. Zeff
lived in Detroit 50 years.
He leaves his wife, Bertha; a son,
A. Robert; a daughter, Mrs. Morton
(Nita Billie) Barak; two brothers,
Dr. M. B. and Yudah of Israel; and
one grandchild.
Leon B. Fredman, 69
Leon B. Fredman, a manufactur-
ers agent for Gourmet Foods and
formerly manager of Milgrim's in
the Fisher Building, died May 12.
He was 69.
Mr. Fredman, 17337 Roselawn,
was a member of the Standard
Club of Detroit and Charles A.
Learned Post, American Legion.
Born in Syracuse, Mr. Fredman
lived in Detroit_50 years.
He leaves a brother, Charles P.;
and a sister, Mrs. • Charles (Ger-
trude) Alpern.
Dr. Arnon Rojansky,
Financial Expert Dies at 66
TEL AVIV (JTA) -- Dr. Arnon
R. Rojansky, president of the Corn,
mercial and Industrial Club here
and vice-president of the Israel-
American Chamber of Commerce,
died here May 11, at 66.
Born in Poland, and coming to
Palestine at an early age, he ob-
tained his education in Britain,
the United States and Germany,
and became a leading accountant
In Israel. In 1945, he worked in
Washington as principal financial
examiner for the United Nations
Relief and Rehabilitation Adminis-
tration.

NEW YORK (JTA) — Abraham
Shamos of New York, an attorney
who was active in Jewish affairs,
died May 10 at age 59. • .
He was a member of the board
of the Hebrew University, secre-
tary of the American Friends of
Hebrew University and a member
of the board of the Associated
Young Men's and Young Women's ,
Hebfew Associations of Greater
New York. He was a protege of the
late Samuel Untermeyer and of
the late Louis Marshall.
