1 teaspoon salt
Dash of pepper
Add water, melted shortening, salt
and pepper to the beaten eggs. Mix
well. Add matzo meal and stir tho-
roughly. Let stand 20 minutes. Form
into balls and drop into soup; or into

3 eggs

teaspoon salt

and matzo meal. Fold in beaten whites,
and drop teaspoonfuls of the mixture
on to a greased griddle. Brown on both
sides. Serve wit*

Passover Nut Cake
3/4 cup Goodman's Matzo Meal
1 cup walnuts
1 cup sugar
9 eggs
V, teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 orange, juice and rind
Beat the egg yolks with the sugar
until light. Add the orange rind and
juice, spices, ground nuts, meal and
last the beaten whites. Bake in a spring
form. Serve with lemon sauce.

Separate eggs and beat whites with
salt until stiff. Beat yolks and water
and mix lightly into whites. Fold in
Matzo Meal and bake in greased tins
at about 350-375 degrees for hour.
