Wilno Readies Products
for Passover Eating

Jewish Meals

Kosher-for-passover corned beef,
salami, frankfurters and bologna,
will be available at local dealers
in time for Passover—manufactur-
ed by the Wilno Kosher Sausage
Co. of Chicago.
For the past 72 years, Wilno
Kosher, pure beef delicatessen
products have been on Passover
tables from coast to coast. They
are prepared under the strict sup-
ervision of Rabbi Ben Zion Rosen-
thal to assure that everything is
kosher for Passover in accordance
with tradition.

A Jewish housewives' favorite both
here and abroad is stuffed breast
of veal. Whenever my mother
wanted a real treat for her raven-
ous and receptive family she roast-
ed this savory dish much to the
delight of us young ones who loved
to dunk thick chunks of hallah in
the rich gravy. Emily Post hadn't
written her book on good table
manners yet and nobody cared in
those days. Even with hallah un-
dunked it is still a favorite dish.
Stuffed Breast of Veal

4 lb. breast of veal

2 onions
1 clove garlic (minced)
1 tablespoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
10 slices white bread
1 /4 lb. mushrooms
4 eggs (5 if necessary)
4 tablespoons chicken fat
Have butcher make a pocket in veal.
Rub inside of pocket and outside of veal
with 1 tablespoon salt, pepper, paprika
and minced clove of garlic.
Filling: Soak bread and squeeze dry.
Saute 1 onion minced in chicken fat,
add mushrooms minced cover and saute
