This new radio-television series is to be pre- sented each Sunday on Channel 2 at 9:45 a.m., and on WJBK radio at 9:15 a.m. The new series, "Festival '66," will appear for four successive weeks commencing this Sunday and will consist of programs fea- turing drama, dance, art and liturgical music. For the opener, Cantor Louis Klein of Cong. Bnai Moshe; Cantor Shabtai Ackerman of Cong. Beth Abraham; and Cantor Harold Or- bach of Temple Israel, who. is also chairman of the music committee for the festival, will present a con- cert of cantorial music. This program will be followed on Feb. 6 with a discussion of art objects and paintings on display at the Center. A discussion of involvement in community issues will follow a presentation of some scenes from Ibsen's "Enemy of the Peo- ple" on the Feb. 13 show. The series will conclude Feb. 20 with "The Village I Knew," a dance program choreographed by Sophie Maslow of New York, who has been brought to Detroit es- pecially for this purpose. Hostess for this series of arts programs will be Mrs. Allen Ber- lin, active participant in musical and art spheres in Detroit.
