Sinai CLEVELAND (JTA)—Establish- meat of a new clinical research institute at Mt. Sinai Hospital to be known as the Shirley and Maurice Saltzman Institute for Clinical Research, has followed a record gift of $1,000,000 by the couple. Announcement of the gift and the new institute was made by Max Freedman, Mt. Sinai pres- ident, at a special meeting of the board. The gift, the largest in the in- stitution's history, is expected to exert a positive effect upon every aspect of its medical program. Saltzman is a trustee of Mt. Sanai Hospital, a vice-president of the Jewish Community Federation and was recently appointed a fel- low at Brandeis University.
