MICHAEL SIMON Barbara Leslie Marsh became the bride of Michael Allan Simon in an afternoon wedding Sunday at the Sheraton-Cadillac Hotel. Rabbi Jacob Segal and Cantor Nicholas Fenakel officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sol Frank Myers of Cran- brook Dr. and the late Dr. David H. Marsh. Mr. Simon is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Simon of Dartmouth Ave., Oak Park. The bride, gowned in peau de soie and lace, carried baby orchids and Stephanotis. Mrs. Mel Bishop, sister of the bride, was matron of honer, and Joan Marsh, another sister, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Albert Fill, sister of the bridegroom, and Terry Zack. Albert Fill was best man, and ushers were Mel Bishop, Errol Sweet, Leslie Menuch and Peter Solomon. Jeffrey Fill was junior usher. A honeymoon up North followed the ceremony, and the couple will take up residence in Ann Arbor. Entertainment, refreshments and gifts for the children will be fea- tured. * * * Bnai Brith Spurs On Campaign to Finish Forest Detroit Bnai Brith has stepped up efforts on behalf of the Martyrs Forest by undertaking a special campaign to complete the plant- ing of the Maurice C. Zeiger Me- morial Forest of 10,000 trees. Max Kushner, chairman of the Metropolitan Detroit Bnai Brith Israel Martyrs Forest committee, made the announcement. The forest, located in the hills of Judea, will honor the memory of Maurice . C. Zeiger, third vice president of District Grand Lodge 6 and a past president of the De- troit Council. All local Bnai Brith lodges are participating in this project. Some have already pledged groves of 1,000 trees or more. Others are planting gardens. Kushner states that his com- mittee is prepared to' assist the lodges in any way to successfully complete this program. Missing Heir Sought Information on the whereabouts of a certain Harold Perlman (Pearlman), whose family lived on Elmwood Ave. about 37 years ago, was sought this week by a Californian who said an inherit- ance has been left for Perlman in Europe. The congregation was formed by 38 Jews in 1845 in lower Man- hattan. The present temple was built in 1930 on Manhattan's upper Fifth Avenue. A message of con- gratulations from President John- son was read. David Sarnoff, a trustee and chairman of the Radio Corporation of America, served as chairman of the anniversary com- mittee.
