Rabbi Segal will speak on the significance of the nation-wide celebration. He was ordained by the Seminary in 1939. Mrs. Helen Ratner and Mrs. Regina Feuer of Detroit will be among 200 delegates from 20 cities in the United States and Canada attending the National Conference of Americans for Progressive Israel—Hashomer Hatzair, this weekend at the Belmont Plaza Hotel, New York City. Mrs. Ratner is a member of the National Council of API-HH. Mrs. Feuer, also a National Council member, serves on the Aliya Committee of the Detroit Zionist Council. "Peace in the Middle East and Preservation of Jewish Values in the Diaspora" will be the theme of the conclave devoted to the problems facing Israel and Jews throughout the world.
