life a little brighter for Detroit's
underprivileged and emotionally
disturbed children will hold its
annual fund-raising event, a fash-
ion show-luncheon, noon Wednes-
day at the Masonic Temple.
Sheruth League, made up of
housewives and mothers, raises
funds to supplement state aid to
certain children's institutions.
Proceeds from Wednesday's event
will go toward paying off the
mortgage on the successful teen-
age halfway house, Sheruth House,
and the balance to further a pilot
camping - project set up by the
Fresh Air Society for emotionally
disturbed children. The group also
clothes underprivileged children
and sends them to camp.
