Popular Star of Israel's 'My Fair Lady,' Ina Flashner Becomes Airs. Arthur Baker Rivka Raz, to Appear for Histadrut The 1965-66 Israel Histadrut Campaign will officially open Thursday with a program featuring Rivka Raz, star of the Israeli pro- duction of "My Fair Lady," and Akiva Eger, director of Histadrut's Afro-Asian Institute, 8 p.m. at the Labor Zionist Institute. The Detroit campaign will once again concentrate most of its ef- forts on helping Histadrut and the Israel government alleviate its problems resulting from dynamics and growth. One of these problems is juvenile delinquency. As part of the Hista- rut program to engage youngsters in purposeful activities, 25,000 stardom as Eliza Dolittle brought her the acclaim of public and press and her album of the Hebrew version of "My Fair Lady" on Columbia is a hit. After completing a 12-month run in Israel as the star of "My Fair Lady," she recently arrived in the United States to do the Ed Sullivan Show. Miss Raz will share the spot- light at the program with Akiva Eger, director of Histadrut's Afro- Asian Institute. The Institute has an annual enrollment of hundreds of trade unionists and cooperators from the developing countries. The Institute also gave a one-week course for an agricultural delega- tion from the Japanese Workers Movement. AFL - CIO President George Meany is co-chairman of the Institute, and international presidents David Dubinsky, George M. Harrison, Jacob S. Potofsky and Walter P. Reuther are on the board of governors. A social hour with refreshments will close the evening. There will be no reserved seating. While tick- ets are available at the door, the public is asked to obtain tickets in advance by calling the Histadrut office, UN 4-7094.
