The films have been altered to show how the Nazis tried to in- fluence public opinion, but the Council contended that even with the changes, the showings could lead to a revival of Nazi thinking. The complaint, in a telegram to new Justice Minister Richard Jae- ger and new Interior Minister. Paul Lucke, asked government action to prevent such showings.
