A Sabra Prepares
for Israel's Television

for Beth El Conclave

The Young People's Society of
Temple Beth El will host the fall
conclave of the Michigan State
Federation of Temple Youth this
weekend. Out-of-town young peo-
ple are expected from the Reform
congregations in the state of
Michigan.
The conclave will begin with
Sabbath e v e n i n g services
8:30 p.m. today. John Nannes,
president of MSTY, will welcome
the delegates, and Rabbi Morton
M. Kanter will deliver a special
message.
Sabbath morning services at
11:15 will be conducted by mem-
bers of Beth El YPS, and the
sermon will be preached by Rabbi

Kanter. Two study sessions will be
held on Saturday afternoon on the
life and philosophy of Franz
Rosenzweig. There will also be
workshops on newspaper publica-
tions, religious service, choir and
debating.
The conclave will conclude with
a breakfast and closing session
Sunday morning.
