The play, which was also shown simultaneous in 14 . other East and West German theaters, was written by Peter Weiss, a Ger- man-born Jew now lviing in Swe- den, who used his own notes on the testimony of the trial which he at- tended. Cuban Jewish Refugees Arrive on 28-Foot Boat . KEY WEST, Fla. (JTA) — Five Jewish refugees from Cuba, in- cluding an 82-year-old woman — the first Jews to arrive since Fidel Castro relaxed his regime's exit ban two weeks ago—landed here Sunday in a 28-foot boat. They braved the hazardous 90-mile voy- age to join their children and other relatives in the United States. The refugees were immediately taken to the United Hias Service office in Miami, located at the U.S. Government Cuban - Refugee Center, for resettlement assist- ance. Rajakowitch, who was convicted for his part in the deportation of thousands of Dutch Jews as an occupational official, was released after a three-year _term. The Italian, newspaper said it was "astonished that, of the en- tire Austrian press and news agencies, only one daily" re- ported on the Nazi's release. The newspaper said that "the most peculiar aspect" of the case was that the Nazi was released even before a higher court had the chance to rule on an appeal by the public attorney against the Nazi's light sentence. The newspaper recalled that Rajakowitch fled from Milan in 1963 when his Nazi past was ex- posed and that after he was denied asylum by several countries and refused readmittance to Italy, he decided to give himself up to Au- strian authorities.
