Two young people of outstand- ing promise received special awards at the last board meeting of the Jewish Welfare Federation. The Frank A. Wetsman leadership award for 1965 was presented to Herbert A. Aronsson; Mrs. N. Brewster Broder (Ruth Kahn) received the newly created Sylvia Simon Greenberg Leadership Award. Selections were made by an award committee on the basis of actively demonstrated service to the Federation and its constituent agencies. Aronsson serves on the Federa- tion board of governors and was the 1965 - pre-campaign co-chair- man of the arts and crafts divi- sion. He is active in many civic groups in the general community.
