Mrs. Meir was received by Prime morning and she met with Foreign
LONDON — Mrs. Golda Meir Minister Harold Wilson Wednesday Secretary Michael Stewart.
Israel's foreign minister, held
a series of intensive dis-
cussions with British government
leaders during a two-day informal
visit to London Tuesday and
Wednesday.
She met with George Thomson,
minister of state for foreign affairs,
and discussed with him his forth-
____„coming visit to Israel, one of a
eries of stops on a current Middle
--'East tour. Later, she met with
Sir Alex Douglas-Home, former
prime minister and Conservative
leader.
She was guest of honor at a
dinner attended by Lord Chalfont,
minister of state for disarmament
and Middle East expert; the House
of Commons leader Herbert Bow-
den; Defense Minister Denis
Healey; Commonwealth Relations
Minister Arthur Bottomley; Chief
Whip Edward Short; and Labor
MP Sir Barnett Janner.
