Before we show
our cars to America,
we show America
to our cars.

General Motors cars see America from coast to
coast, border to border, long before they go into pro-
duction. Long before you see them in dealers' show-
rooms. As disguised models, they see winter in New
England, traffic in Manhattan, Colorado mountain
roads and millions of miles of our Michigan and
Arizona proving grounds. We show our cars all the
kinds of driving you might ever do. So that whatever
the test you put one to, you'll know your GM car has
already passed with flying colors. Long before, when
it was being proved the GM way.
