There is much warmth and great
depth in this excellent account of
the great lawyer. His childhood, his
early career as a teacher and later
as a lawyer; his ability as a de-
bater and his sense of justice are
delineated by Mrs. Faber with the
skill that marks all of her works.

authored several splendid chil-
dren's books including biographies,
did a magnificent job with her
"Clarence Darrow: Defender of the
People," ably illustrated by Paul
Frame and published by Prentice-
Flail, Englewood Cliffs, N.J.

The major cases in which he
figured are reviewed in this
story. The young readers for
whom the book was written are
told about Darrow the railroad's
lawyer who gave up a promising
income to defend Eugene V. Debs
and his union. The labor leader
was generally condemned, but to
Darrow he was a hero.

DAYTON (JTA)-Miriam Hall.
the new building of the school of
business administration of the Uni-
versity of Dayton, was named in
memory of Miriam Rosenthal, hu-

year.
It was through the efforts of
Miss Rosenthal that the $6,000,000
drive for the combined university
needs succeeded in 1962, making
possible the new business admin-
istration building and the John F.
Kennedy Memorial Union.
Miss Rosenthal's intense person-

back to 1955, when she success-
fully helped organize the 1956 cap-

Shrinks Hemorrhoids
Without Surgery

Stops itch-Relieves Pain

For the first time science has found

a new healing substance with the as-
tonishing ability to shrink hemor-

rhoids and to relieve pain - without
surgery. In case after case, while
gently relieving pain, actual reduc-
tion (shrinkage) took place. Most
amazing of all - results were so thor-
ough that sufferers made astonishing
statements like "Piles have ceased to
be a problem!" The secret is a new
healing substance (Bio-Dyne®)- dis-
covery of a world-famous research
institute. This substance is now avail-
able in suppository or ointment form
called Preparation I-15. At all drug
counters.
