Once again, we present Michigan's largest and finest Antique Show —
The Detroit Antique Show-Sale at the Light Guard Armory, 4400 East Eight
Mile, (between Mound and Ryan Roads), from September 16th thru 19th
(Thursday thru Sunday). Our Show will contain over 80 exhibits—all under
one roof and all on one floor — presenting our visitors with the most varied
selection of antiques this side of New York. The Show is easily accessible
from all areas of Metropolitan Detroit, offers free parking, a restaurant, plenty
of chairs (to rest weary feet) , large walk-around booths; (so you won't be
squashed), elbowed and pushed) and hours from 1 :00 to 10:00 p.m., pro-
viding ample time to browse and-or buy the antique of your choice.

Among the Show's special features will be "Little Greenwich Village"
where caricature and pastel artists will fashion portraits for you and your
family. The General Store, with its old fashion and imported candies, will
return to delight the youngsters and the young at heart. A new exhibitor,
Westlake's Book Store, will come from St. Joseph, Michigan, bringing a
collection of old and rare books and magazines. Among the reading material
are books on How To Catch A Husband, A Glossary of Prominent Kennels
For Your Dog, Travel Alone and Like It (this one is the original version,
written in the early 1900's), Recipes From The Frontier and many more
interesting and amusing volumes.

Be sure not to miss this fine Show, where you will find something to
interest every member of the family. Make plans now to visit the 14th
Detroit Antique Show-Sale, at the Light Guard Armory on September 16th,
17th, 18th or 19th—from 1 :00 to 10:00 p.m. every day. When you come,
bring this announcement with you, and you will receive a 10c reduction
on one admission.

Come to the Show where you will meet old friends and make new
ones — the Detroit Antique Show-Sale, September 16-19.
