Michigan ORT Region to Inaugurate Membership Drive at Franklin Hills The Michigan Region of Wom- en's American ORT will launch its fall membership drive 12:30 p.m., Sept. 24, at Franklin Hills County Club. One or more new members, with their sponsors, will be admit- ted as guests of ORT, according to Mrs. Ben Brant, region vice presi- dent of membership. For those unable to bring a new member, there will be an admis- sion charge. Prospective members are welcome, and for those who join ORT on that day the price of admission will be credited towards membership dues. Sandwiches and coffee will be served preceding the fashion show presented- by Madelyn Coe, Hudson's fashion co- ordinator. Mrs. Monroe Rosenthal, national treasurer of Women's American ORT, will address the group. Mrs. Brant will be assisted by region program vice president Mrs. Julian Frank, and region hos- pitality chairmen Mrs. Nathan Simon and Mrs. Eugene Epstein. Guest speaker will be Jacob Barmore, consul general for the state of Israel. New slides of the Hadassah-Hebrew University Med- ical Center in Jerusalem will be shown, launching a fund-raising campaign for maintenance of the Hadassah medical organization.
