bride of Joshua Saslove, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Moe Saslove of Sher-
• bourne Rd., at a recent ceremony
solemnized by Rabbi Irwin Groner
and Cantor Reuven Frankel at
Cong. Shaarey Zedek.
The bride, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Jack Freeman of Sussex Ave.,
Oak Park, wore a floor-length
gown of peau de soie with an
Empire bodice appliqued with
hand-corded Alencon lace, tiny
pearls and crystals. The detachable
chapel train was edged in garlands
of matching lace, and her should-
er-length veil of silk illusion was
attached to a peau de soie Dior
bow.
Ellen Brown was maid of
honor, and bridesmaids included
Mrs. Larry Barnblatt and Rema
Saslove, sisters of the bride-
groom, Marlene Markle and
Marilyn Pollack. Audrey Free-
man, the bride's sister, and
Beverly Schwartz were junior
bridesmaids.
Larry Barnblatt was best man
for his brother-in-law. Larry Free-
man, brother of the bride, was an
usher, along with Alan Gross,
Alvin Spector, Ed Stewart and
'Earl Schwartz.
The newlyweds plan to live in
Southfield.

MRS. JEFFREY MALKIN

In a candlelight ceremony at
Temple Emanu-El, Suzanne Rob-
erta Bressler and Jeffrey Myles
Malkin were united in marriage.
They are the children of Mr. and
Mrs. Irving Bressler of Briar Dr.,
Oak Park, and the Louis Malkins
of Sussex, also in Oak Park.
After the ceremony, at which
Rabbi Milton Rosenbaum offici-
ated, the couple left on a honey-
moon to Toronto, Montreal and
Quebec.
The bride wore a gown of
peau de soie with a scalloped
neckline and sleeves. The fitted
bodice was appliqued in hand-
corded Alencon lace with motifs
of tiny seed pearls. A detach-
able chapel train began at the
waist of the dome-shaped, floor-
length gown. Her veil was held
in place by a crown of seed
pearls, and she carried Step-
hanotis on her confirmation
Bible.
Marsha Bressler, sister of the
bride, was maid of honor, and
bridesmaids were Susan Cohen,
Marlene Katz and Carol Kirsch-
baum. Robin Wayne was junior
bridesmaid, and Susan Snow flow-
er girl.
Edwin Malkin served his broth-
er as best man. Jerry Bloomberg,
Harvey Brode, Steven Malkin and
Bill Rosender were ushers.
The couple will make their home
on Lincoln Terrace Drive, Oak
Park.

Temple Israel, Carole Mahler,
daughter of the Donald Mahlers
of Dundee Ave., Huntington
Woods, was united in marriage to
Barry Lee Springel, son of Mr.
Joseph Springel of W. Nine Mile
Rd. and the late Mrs. Springel.
Rabbis Leon Fram and M. Rob-
ert Syme and Cantor Harold
Orbach officiated.
The bride wore a gown of
peau de soie with a Sabrina
neckline, bateau sleeves, Empire
bodice and cumerbund en-
crusted in pearls and crystals.
Her Wateau, chapel-length train
was attached to a floor-length
sheath skirt, and she wore a
floor-length mantilla of duchess
lace and silk illusion.
Harriet Bloom was maid of
honor, and Truth Kaplan, Sue
Pevos, Vivian L eib erm a n and
Pamela Smith were bridesmaids.
Michael Marinoff of Philadelphia
was best man. Ushers were Alan
Magid, Dennis Wolgin,- Murry
Rosenthal of Philadelphia and the
bride's brothers, Jay and Robert
Mahler.

At Bnai Moshe Synagogue,
Kathryn Anne Marton, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Marton of
Marlowe Ave., and Robert Stuart
Tarnow, son of the Nathan Tar-
mows of Franklin Fairway, Farm-
ington, were united in marriage by
Rabbi Moses Lehrman and Cantor
Simon Berm•nis.
The bride's Empire-waisted gown
of peau de sole was fashioned on
princess lines. The bodice design
was encrusted with seed pearls,
and the skirt and detachable train
were bordered in lace and re-
embroidered in crystal beads and
seed pearls. Her illusion veil was
attached to a wreath of pearlized
orange blossoms, and she carried
her confirmation Bible covered
with orchids and satin rib b o n
streamers.
Adrienne Goldbaum, sister of
the bridegroom, serve d as
matron of honor, and the brides-
maids were Pam and Barbara
Marton, sisters of the bride, and
Maureece Levin and Ellen Wil-
lert. Rhonda Goldbaum served
as flower girl, while her brother
Keith was ring bearer.
Best man for his brother was
Arthur Tarnow. Ushers included
Isadore Goldbaum, Richard Ro-
land, Glenn Rosin and Sanford
Klein. -
Following a honeymoon in San
Francisco, Los Angeles and Las
Vegas, the couple will reside on
Cherry Hill Lane, Southfield.

Judith. Carol Pliskow became the
bride of Kennth Winer at Temple
Israel Monday. Officiating at the
candlelight ceremony were Rabbis
Leon Fram and M. Robert Syme.
Children of Dr. and Mrs. Harold
Pliskow of Sherfield Pl., South-
field, and Mr. and Mrs. Percy
Winer of Pinehurst Ave., the new-
lyweds left on a honeymoon in
Canada following the reception.
The bride wore a gown with train
of peau de soie, trimmed with re-
embroidered Alencon lace. Her
veil was of silk illusion.
Maid of honor was the bride's
sister, Naomi Pliskow; and brides-
maids were Linda Layne, Esther
Solomon, Lois Steinberg, Meridel
RUbenstein and Lisa Rubenstein.
The bridegroom's brother, Alan
Winer, was best man. Ushers were
Dr. Raymond Pliskow, brother of
the bride, Allen Katz, Dennis Katz,
Richard Winer and Sander Good-
man.
