PART 3 .&/e/mter/4 PRESENTS The Future American Jew Not many of these children read Look Magazine — and if they did, they wouldn't believe it. Look Magazine said the American Jew was vanish- ing, but most of these chil- dren were too busy to read the article. They were busy being Americans — being Jews — being good kids. They•go to a private school where the classes are small and the attention is individ- ual. Hebrew Language and Jewish subjects are part of their daily curriculum studied during school hours when they are rested and their attention span is long. Their diligence in English studies has given the Beth Yehudah Schools more Phi Beta Kappas than any other school in Michigan. Beth Yehudah is a school where virtually all of its graduates go on to higher studies. There are NO high-school drop-outs here. After school these chil- dren play baseball, ride bikes, help their parents, go to the library, do their home- work. They are full-time (not late afternoon) Jews. The children pictured be- low are members of just the graduating classes of the Beth Yehudah Schools. Our's is an expanding school. This fall boys will attend the brand new school on Fairfax in Southfield. Girls' classes are held in our beautiful school on Seven Mile Road VC, near Schaefer Highway. If you feel your child's public school education, or Jewish identification, leaves something to be desired, why don't you send your child to Beth Yehudah, next term.
