DO YOU KNOW that wine is a
living thing? . . . Well, it is . . .
Most wines, the great wines, con-
tinue to grow and improve even
after bottling . . . Their great bou-
quet and delicate taste get better
with the passage of time ... Wines
should be treated with gentleness
and respect . . . A really great
bottle of wine is a work of art .. .
Its a pity that Americans do not
show more interest in wines—
there is really no great mystery
about them.

TEL AVIV—A unique "Alphabet
Museum" was opened recently
here. Considered the only one of
its kind in the world, the museum
relates the history of script.
Prof. David Diringer, lecturer in
Semitic epigraphy at Cambridge (—
University, England, arranged the
collection. He said the alphabet de-
veloped among the Semitic peoples
—either Hebrews, Phoenicians or
Moabites, who all used the same
script—around 150 B.C.E.
