Judith Kanfer Married to Lawrence Glazer MRS. LAWRENCE GLAZER Judith Ann Kanfer became the ;bride of Lawrence Harold Glazer, son of Mrs. Ruth Glazer of Third Ave. and the late Mr. Glazer, in a July 10 ceremony at the Shera- ton-Cadillac Hotel. Rabbi Benjamin Gorrelick and Cantor Harold Orbach officiated. The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kanfer of Pinehurst Ave., wore a peau de soie gown with a fitted bodice embellished with heirloom Venetian lace. Her round pill box was embroidered with pearls, and she carried white roses, Phalaenopsis and Stephanotis. The bride's sister-in-law, Mrs. Edward Kanfer, was matron of honor, and Linda Kirschner was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Marcia Gould, July Kahl, Jackie Kaplan and Elissa Kass, and Bar- bara Chandler was junior brides- maid. The bride's brother, Edawrd Kanfer was best man. Ushers in- cluded Jimmy Parker, Fred Leff, Howard Nudell, Gerald Kirschner and Harvey Hollo. Larry Hollo was junior usher. After honeymooning in New York and the Concord, the couple will live in Bayonne, N.J. Ross Addresses Institute, Urges Million Jobs a Year Business and government must cooperate to create a million new jobs a year between now and 1970, said Joseph Ross, Davidson Bro- thers, Inc., (Federal Department Stores), president, in an ad- dress to a Rockefeller Foundation summer institute on economics at Wayne State University last week. Ross said he thinks America is on the threshold of economic growth "comparable to the most dynamic eras in our history," and he pointed to population change as the "most dominant factor in our present and future economy.' He said government would have to join business to transform "the economical potential of people units into the economic reality of con- sumer units." Agudah Latin Offices to Be Set Up in Argentina '/ SAO PAULO, Brazil The Agudath Israel World Organi- zation has decided to establish a South American headquarters in Buenos Aires with branches in other Latin American countries. The decision was taken at the first Latin American Agudah Congress held here under the chairmanship of Benjamin Citron, member of the Agudah World executive. Ground- breaking ceremonies were held here for a synagogue building to be erected by the six- year-old Mekor Haim community of Egyptian Jews, the largest such community in South America.
