Israel Buys Copters for Army From France PARIS (JTA) — Israeli officials signed here an agreement for the purchase of an undisclosed num- ber of French-made Super-Frelon helicopters which can carry 35 soldiers and equipment plus a jeep and military supplies. The cost of the purchase of the military- type helicopters also was not dis- closed. The agreement was signed by Brig. A. Kashti, director-general of the Israel defense ministry and Admiral Mordecai Limon, the min- istry's European representative. Of- ficials of Sud-Aviation, manufac- turers of the helicopter, signed for France. The helicopter, which is stan- dard equipment, in the French army, can be used for combat as well as transport missions. Brig. Kashti was in Paris to attend the International Air Show.
