senior from Birmingham Seaholm
High School; was cited as high
scorer of the year at a track
team dinner Monday. Co-captain of
the team, Howard tallied a new
high school total of 141.75 points
and set a new track record of 9.8
seconds. Son of the Al Dubins of
Charrington Rd., Howard holds
three. letters in track and has seen
his team continue its stream of vic-
tories as undefeated champs in the
school league.

one of 50 students from four coun-
tries to be selected as a recipient
of the George W. Clements 1965
Sumnier Scholarship. Miss Freed-
man, a 1965 graduate of Southfield
High School, will be engaged in
this nine-week program which
works on cancer control methods.
She will enter the University of
Michigan in the fall.
