at the 45th annual meeting of the
UHS 6:15 p.m. Tuesday at the
Esther Berman Building.
All parents, friends and mem-
bers of the UHS are invited to the
dinner-meeting, at which Hyman

ton, will hold its first Bar Mitz- 1,300 members in the Detroit area.

Welfare Federation, will deliver
an address. Officers and board
members will be elected, and an-
nual reports given.
A special feature of the eve-
ning will be the presentation of
the latest textbook published by
the United Hebrew Schools, with
funds allocated by Federation:
"Ha' Bayit Ha' Yehudi Gimel."
The presentation will be made to
leaders of United Jewish Chari-
ties, which has made the series
-
possible.

Those to receive citations are
principals Israel Elpern of Es-
ther Berman, Morris Nobel of
Bnai Moshe, Alex Roberg of
Adas Shalom and Norman Rut-
tenberg of Cohn branch, Li-
vonia. Veteran teachers who will
be cited are Mesdames Dora
Dworkin, Alex Roberg and Bea
Kriechman of Beth Aaron, Rae
Goodman of Bnai Moshe, and
Helen Radin of Esther Berman.
