Shragai, First Jerusalem Mayor, Before Joint Annual Center Meeting of Dr. Dennis Phillips Will Be Guest in Detroit Next Month Dr. Otto Pollak, professor of so- ciology at the University of Penn- sylvania, will be principal speaker at the combined annual meeting of the Jewish Center, Jewish Fam- ily and Children's Service and Re- settlement Service 8 p.m. Thurs- day at the Center. The community is invited to hear Dr. Pollak's address on "Masculinity and Femininity — Changing Roles in Our Society." Dr. Pollak will indicate how the changing identifications and con- fusions in the sexual role of adults affect the family of today. He will also discuss how :::social a g e ncies can help in han- dling the prob- lems that arise from these changes. A 1930 grad- uate of the Uni- versity of Vien- Pollak na, Dr. Pollak received his PhD degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1947. Dr. Pollak is a consultant at Valley Forge General Hospital and at the Philadelphia Psychia- tric Center. He is also the author of several books.
