Fisher Spurs $40,000,000 UM Cash Drive

An intensive nationwide drive,

announced by Max M. Fisher, na-
tional UJA general chairman.
Fisher announced that a group

every region in the United States,
have joined the UJA National
Cash Committee, under Zinman's

000,000 cash collection effort. Zin-
man is a UJA national chairman.

TEL AVIV (JTA) — Dr. George
Wise, president of Tel Aviv Uni-
versity, announced that the insti-
tution's board of directors has
approved a development budget
totaling 43,000,000 Israeli pounds
($14,333,000). He announced also
that negotiations had formally be-
gun with the Hebrew University
of Jerusalem for the obsorptian of
