Grand Rapids to Host Hadassah Parley ; 10 Detroiters to Attend Michigan Region of Hadassah, the women's Zionist organization of Am erica. will o l d athree-day regional conference in Grand Rapids' Pantlind Hotel starting Monday. Theme will be "Towards A Bet- ter World," and highlighting the May 4 evening banquet as speaker will be Mrs. Mortimer Jacobson, national president of Hadassah. Over-all chairman is Mrs. Ben Wepman. At one of many panel discus- sions, Mrs. I Jerome Hauser of Detroit will be chairman. She also will head an American and Zion- ist affairs workshop, which in- cludes a discussion of Soviet Jewry. Following afternoon seminars on -fund raising and education, there will be the banquet presenting Mrs. Jacobson. The conference will close after a brunch session Wednesday.
