New UAHC Bible
WorklIkzy Book
Illustrated Bible stories for very
young children, with provisions
for coloring and for drawing in
completed forms via numbers are
featured a new publication issued
by the Union of American Hebrew
Congregations.
"Bible Work and Play," written
and illustrated by Joyce Fischnian,
renders a great service. It teaches
the child the basic Bible stories,
it provides a work book of con-
siderable merit, it encourages
study.
Starting with Noah and the Ark,
this large-sized coloring and -work
book proceeds to narrate many
other stories.
It is a creative work and it
should have a large distribution
among children in the early grades
of Jewish schools as well as for
home use — as study and for
entertainment.
