Model Seders Arranged for Students

Passover will be celebrated
April 16, but students will get an
"opening night" preview at model
seder's this weekend and during
the coming week.
Adas Shalom branch of the
United Hebrew Schools will hold
its program 11 a.m. Sunday in
the social hall. Parents are in-
vited to observe the seder, pre-
pared by the PTO board.

Beth Aaron branch is having
two model seders Wednesday, the
first at 4 p.m. for children of the
first and second periods, and the
second, for older students of the
third period, at 5:30 p.m.

Beth Abraham branch will hold
its program 10:30 a.m. Sunday for
the UHS and Sunday school stu-
dents. The PTO will prepare the
food and have invited parents.

Bnai Moshe branch will hold
seder Monday and Tuesday. Chil-
dren who attend the school will
be served by the PTO. Parents are
invited.

Mishkan Israel Religious School
will hold its model seder 10 a.m.
Sunday in the social hall. Students
from David Fein's class will con-
duct the seder, with Shirley Trat-
ner lighting - the candles, Steven
Schwartz saying kiddush and
David Koss asking the four ques-
tions. Jeff Young and Nathan Za-
wierucha of Rabbi Israel Polter's
class also will take part. Mrs. I.
Lichtig, chairman of the model
seder; has arranged for traditional
foods.

United Synagogue Youth groups
of Bnai Moshe will hold a com-
bined pre-Passover seder after
Saturday services in the syna-
gogue..

part in a "Jericho March" here
Sunday, as part of an effort to
bring down "the walls of hate and
prejudice" which separate the
Jewish people in Russia from their
brethren the world over.
