Chemist to Discuss Problems of Kashrut in Manufactured Foods LONDON ( JTA) — The Federa- tion of Synagogues marked its 75th anniversary at a dinner attended by some 50 persons, including the leaders of British Jewry. The Federation, which was founded by Samuel Montagu, now includes 17 constituent synagogues and 34 af- filiated congregations, and main- tains two Jewish day schools, four kindergartens and a network of Talmud Torah schools. Morris Lederman, president of the Federation, announced details of the organization's project in Israel, which provides living quar- ters for retired and semi-retired persons. The dinner was addressed by Chief Rabbi Brodie and E. Chanan, Federation vice-president.
