Beck, Mrs. Abraham Coo- p—, Mrs Ade'ln Venmen and Col- lins George, music critic of the Detroit Free Press. After the intermission at the concert, March 16, Prof. M. Wo- jciechowski of the University of Detroit took over as a surprise to Mrs. Chajes and called on Council- woman Beck, who read a resolu- tion of the Common Council which stated; - "Whereas her record of a selfless and significant contribution to the cultural enrichment of our citizens and to the development of the musical talents of our young people should not go unrecog- nized.
