Young Violinist Charles Castleman
to Be Featured in Art Institute Series
The second concert of the De-
troit Institute of Arts' Young Art-
ists Series of Leventritt Award win-
ners will feature violinist Charles
Castleman in the Art Institute's
lecture hall 8:20 p.m. Tuesday. He
will be accompanied by Lawrence
LaGore. pianist.
Castleman, 23, is a graduate of
Philadelphia's Curtis Institute
and has appeared as soloist with
the Philadelphia Orchestra, New
York Philharmonic, the Nation-
al and Buffalo symphonies and
many others. He has given re-
citals in major cities of the U.S.,
Europe and Mexico, and recent-
ly returned from a 40-concert
