MRS. SANFORD WALD

A honeymoon in Hawaii follow-
ed the recent marriage of Sandra
Gail Jacobs and Sanford H. Wald
at Shaarey Zedek Synagogue.
The couple are the children of
Mr. and Mrs Si S. Jacobs of Vic-
toria Ave., Oak Park. and the Jack
Walds of Avon Ave., Oak Park.
A high, rounded neckline and
long sleeves highlighted the can-
dlelight taffeta gown with its ap-
pliques of Alencon lace, It had a
fitted bodice and full, ifell-shaped
skirt extending into a chapel train.
Twin roses of taffeta and lace held
the bride's tiered veil of imported
silk illusion. and she carried a bou-
quet of roses,and Stephanotis with
ivy.
Mrs. Jack Winograd, the bride-
groom's sister, was matron of
honor. Bridesmaids were Alexan-
dra Jones, Linda Foster, Sandra
Wald, Barbara Lynn and Mrs.
Stuart Bridle. The bride's sister,
Judith Lynn Jacobs, was junior
bridesmaid.
Best man Robert Atler was. as-
sisted by ushers Norman Lynn,
Howard Marsh, Joel Yellen, Ber-
nard Hirschbein, Morton Schneider
and Jack Winograd. Ring bearer
was Howard Ross, and Lori Hope
Reichek was flower girl.
The couple will make their home
in Oak Park.

The annual banquet of Vladi-
miritzer Emergency Relief Organi-

Born in Vilna, Lithuania, he was
a teacher in its Hebrew day schools
before leaving for Belgium, where
he received his doctorate in econo-
mics at the University of Ghent.
He served in Zionist capacities
and with commercial concerns in
Poland and Belgium, and, for five
years was director of the Jewish
National Fund in Belgium.

Arlazaroff Branch Sets
Review, Music Program

Two cultural gatherings are
planned by Arlazaroff Branch,
Farband LZO, in coming weeks.
On Wednesday at 9 p.m., there
will be a meeting at the Labor
Zoinist Institute.
Mrs. Stanley Waxenberg will re-
view Edward Lewis Wallant's
novel "Children at the Gates".
The branch will celebrate
Jewish Music Month, 9 m., March
3. Dan Frohman, composer, concert
singer and choir conductor, will
speak on the origin of Jewish
music, at the Labor Zionist In-
stitute.
