Dr. Venzlaff reported that many survivors are suffering from de- layed reaction mental illnesses. There are 4,000 such victims in this area, unable to adjust to the customs of their new country, according to Dr. Henry Krystal, of the WSU medical school psych- iatry department. The youth of the survivors caused the delay in effects, Dr. Venzlaff said. Dr. Krystal added that between 60 and 70 per cent of the refugees living here have mental problems and feel they are apart from other people. He said they stick together but refuse to talk about the past, harboring feelings of guilt because they survived while others died. The two men were joined by rehabilitation workers, vocational guidance personnel and social workers. JULES DONESON TRAVEL PHOTO-QUIZ NO. 12 ••••••.1.11MINSI=11•1112M1Mill....
