Judge Burton Shifman of the Oak
Park municipal court was renomi-
nated at the primaries on Monday.
He received 2,255 votes. He will be
opposed at the April 5 election by
Sydney Ruby, who received 993
votes.
David Weisberg was nominated
for the Oak Park City Council.
Norman Feder was nominated for
Southfield City Council.

Zionist Actions
Committee Plans
December Plenary

JERUSALEM (JTA)—The
World Zionist Actions Committee
will hold its next plenary session
next December, when it is sched-
uled to decide on the composition
of the new executive of the World
Zionist Organization and the Jew-
ish Agency, according to a deci-
sion here of the Actions Commit-
tee after the 26th World Zionist
Congress closed here last month
without a decision.
The Actions Committee will con-
sider proposals for enlarging the
World Zionist Executive by co-opt-
ing individuals not at present in
the WZO framework. The presi-
dium also decided to elect two per-
manent committees to deal with
Zionist affairs in Israel and in the
Diaspora respectively and whose,
members would be elected by a
mail poll among the members of
the Actions Committee. '
