Diane Sonia Stein became the
bride of 'Frank Milton Safran in
a ceremony held at Adas Shalom
Synagogue.
The couple's parents are Mr.
and Mrs. Sonne M. Stein of Wash-
burn Ave. and the David Safrans
of Parkside Ave.
Adrienne Baron was maid of
honor, and best man was Jack Sa-
fran. Other attendants were Cheryl ,
Safran. Evelyn Rosenberg, Eleanor
Stein and Bonnie Stein, brides-
maids; and Richard Miller, Ber-
nard Fogel and Barry Stein, ush-
ers. Sherri Herman was flower
girl.
The couple has taken up resi-
dence in Northgate Apartments.

been music to the ears of Detroit
wholesalers Handleman Co.
Heading the company are four

beauty aids, it is the largest in-
dependent wholesaler of phono-
graph records in the nation. Rec-
ords now are 58 per 'Cent of its
business. By April 30 of this fiscal
year it will have sold $20,000,000
in records to drug chains. depart-
ment stores. and other retailers.
Handleman's 10 branches cover 40
per cent of the U.S.
The firm. in its 31st year of
operation. is one of the few whole-
salers in the nation to be publicly
owned or have its shares listed on
either of the two national stock
exchanges.
