The Mumford Fine Arts Depart-
ment will present its Winter Music
Festival 8 p.m. today.
This annual program, which fea-
tures the school orchestra, concert
and stage bands, dance workshop
and the boys' ensemble, is under
the direction of Jack Shelby. fine
arts department head and band
conductor.
Other faculty members asso-
ciated with the program are Joseph
Kertesz, orchestra; Lois Craig, boys
ensemble; and Mrs. Ann Zirulnick,
dance workshop. Tickets for the
program are on sale at the door.
The senior class of January 1965
is rapidly approaching the culmina-
tion of four years of high school
with graduation exercises sched-
uled for 10 a.m. Jan. 29 in the
school auditorium. Other activities
which will precede graduation in-
clude the senior class weekend.
Jan. 22-24, at Camp Tamarack; sen-
ior honors convocation Jan. 27: and
the senior prom, Jan. 27. at the
Veteran's Memorial Building.

have been chosen recipients of the
Detroit Police Youth Award. This
award, which is presented to one
boy and one girl in each gradua-
tion class, is given for citizenship.
