We join in welcoming the elevation of our

distinguished fellow-citizen, Mr. Max M. Fisher,

to the highest post in the Jewish social service

spheres — to the General Chairmanship of the

United Jewish Appeal.

Mr. Max M. Fisher is the distinguished leader

who has honored Detroit with the services he

has rendered to Jewry, to America, to humanity.

We take pride in our association with him

and we wish him the success his many efforts

have earned in the years of his dedication to

humanitarian ideals.
