Avi Schedules Meeting

NATIONAL COUNCIL OF JEW-
ISH WOMEN. Detroit Section, will
hear Dr. Dina Feitelson, Council
overseas fellow, at the paid-up mem-
bership luncheon noon Monday, at
Temple Beth El. Dr. Feitelson, an
inspector of schools for the Israel
Ministry of Education and current-
ly visiting scholar at the Univer-
sity of Chicago. will discuss "Edu-
cational Problems in Israel." Mrs.
Sol Hammerstein. president of the
League of Jewish Women's Organi-
zations. will give the invocation,
according to Mrs. Harold Kaufman,
program chairman. Other partici-
pants in the program include Mrs.
Leo Stern. who will introduce the
speaker. and Mrs. Ben Schottenfels
and Mrs. 'Murray Sachs, who will
report on Council's newest project,
a tutorial and enrichment program
at Custer Elementary School. The
luncheon is under the chairman-
ship of Mrs. Samuel S. Willis; oth-
ers assisting in the planning of the
meeting include Mesdames Richard
Prentis. vice president; William
Parnos, publicity. and Harold Jo-
sephson and Robert Dunsky, host-
esses.

The 40th anniversary donor luncheon of the Detroit Pioneer

Sisterhood donor luncheon will
take place noon Tuesday in the
