His efforts were rewarded when Richard Rodgers and Allan Jay Lerner signed him to star in their planned musical "I Picked a g Daisy." The delegation was headed by Mrs. Catalina Stoliar. publisher, and Jacob Glaser, editor of the newspaper and was accompanied by Gregorio Fainguersch, presi- dent of the Buenos Aires Kehilla. President Illia said that the crea- tion of the newspaper 50 years ago proved that Jews had come to Argentina to establish themselves "firmly and creatively." He stress- ed that Jews have the "grace of loyalty" to the countries where they live.
