Endowment Fund Honors
Memory of. WSU Alumnus

An estate of $12.000 left to
Wayne State University by Fred-

erick C. Wendland, Jr., will be 1.0
used to establish a Frederick C.
Wendland Endowment Fund.
Wendland, a 36-year-old bachelor,
was killed when his car was struck
by a train at Mound and Twelve
Mile, Warren, on July 24, 1963.
His attorney, Bernard S. Kahn,
also a WSU graduate said Wend-

Wayne's meaning to him."
Kahn, who served as an in-

WSU, first met Wendland in 1949
when he enrolled in Kahn's class.
