A crystal ball gazer who dabbles in Freudian analysis at the same time is the zany role Buddy Hack- ett will be playing in his first musical, 'I Had A Ball," which Joseph Kipness brought to the Fisher Theater Monday for four weeks, on its way to Broadway. The show continues here through Nov. 21. Screwball fun appears to be the principal ingredient in this sofig- and-dance show set in New York City's internationally - famous pleasure mecca, Coney Island. Anything can happen, as the news bulletins attest, in this bizarre Baghdad-by-the-Sea, and the com- plications cooked up by Jerome Chodorov for "I Had A Ball" are reported to be ingenious. The author has written such previous hit romps as "My Sister Eileen," "Junior Miss" and "Wonderful Town." Hackett, whose inspired lunacy as a highlight of many Jack Paar TV shows and the current film, "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad Evie Orbach, director of the Jewish Center's production of "The Tenth Man," has appeared on national television as well as on radio and in the theater. The importance of the talks was emphasized by the fact that Prime Minister Levi Eshkol presided over the meeting of the committee. Usu- ally such meetings are under the chairmanship of the finance minis- ter.
