Edward Garrick. of Hampton. Va., chief of the dynamic loads division of the Langley Research Center. Garrick, a charter member of the Jewish Community Center of New- port News, Va., received the award for "sustained outstanding contri- butions" to the aeronautical and space sciences during 34 years of research in the two fields.
