returned from Israel with Mrs.
Cohn. was the toastmaster. He
gave a deeply moving account of
his experiences. of the progress
made in Israel with the aid of
Israel Bond money. and he com-
mented: "We match our dollars
with the lives of the Israelis,
and we have the easy way out."
Cohn also told of the manner in
which he had seen .Jews arrive in
Vienna on their way from East
European countries to Israel. and
he urged increased aid to assist in
bringing these people to their des-
tination in Israel. He therefore
called for generous gifts to pro-
Israel causes and for large invest-
ments in projects like Israel Bonds
that assist Israel's upbuilding. -
Joseph Holtzman assisted Cohn
in calling for Bond purchasing. and
he. too. made a strong appeal in
support, of ,the United Jewish
Appeal Wnd other major causes and
for Bond purchases.
Phillip Stollman, who introduced
Mrs, Eshkol. joined them in a plea
for aid to Israel. Mrs. Emma
