They have three children.
Cohen's primary responsibility in
his new Detroit post will be in ad-
ministration and planning.
Drachler comes to his post from
a number of key positions in De-
troit Jewish affairs. Raised and
educated in Detroit, h _ e is married
to the former Leah Michlin and
is the father of two sons.
He was supervisor of the Jew-
ish Parents' Institute at the Jew-
ish Center before coming. to
Federation in 1957. Since then
he has been active in Allied Jew-
ish Campaigns as director of the
mercantile division and the build-
ing and real estate division. He
served as secretary of the educa-
tion and community relations divi-
sions, and the committee on capi-
tal needs; has been secretary of
the professional staff institute and
served on the committee on Jew-
ish scholarship service.
His primary responsibility as as-
sistant director will be in the area
