20 synagogues where Israel Bond
appeals were held. will be distrib-
uted. Women may earn Chen
awards through their collections.

Nova Scotia Towns Ask
Check on Hate Mailings

YARMOUTH, N.S. (JTA) —The
Western Region of the Union of
Nova Scotia Municipalities ap-
proved a resolution asking the pro-
vincial government to examine all
third class mail for hate propa-
ganda.
Hubert L. L y n c h, Yarmouth
deputy mayor, who prepared the
resolution, said that it also called
on the department of justice in
Ottawa "to take immediate action"
to amend the federal criminal code
to per mit action to be taken
"against those who spread racial
hatred in our country."
