Friends of Hillel Plan Fund Raiser `Jewish Tradition' Course to Be Taught at McGill MONTREAL (JTA) — David Rome, head librarian at the Jewish Public Library, Montreal, has been appointed a lecturer in the department of religion in the Fac- 11 New Hebrew Day Schools Established Eleven new Hebrew Day Schools, including five at the high school level, have been established . with the openling of the 1964-65 school year, in various parts of the United States and Canada. Samuel C. Feuerstein, president of Torah Umesorah, the national society for Hebrew Day Schools, said the newly-established schools bring the number of Hebrew Day Schools in the United States to a total of 289, with another 21 schools functioning in Canada.
