For boys UN Cordially Invited to Mack Pitt and His Orchestra Tel Aviv Garbage Men End Strike; 2,000 Toris of Leftovers Left Over TEL AVIV (JTA) — Tel Aviv's garbage collectors faced the monu- mental task of carting away some 2,000 tons of refuse which piled , up in the city during a seven-day strike which was settled last week. The sanitation workers accepted proposals for a settlement sub-- mitted by the Tel Aviv Labor i Council. Uri Alpert, Labor Council 0 secretary, said the 800 workers agreed to end the walk-out strike on condition that negotiations be- gan immediately for wage in- creases. The demands to be negotiated include an extra effort payment for 'working on the eves of 10 holidays and for work on Rosh Hashanah eve. The workers will receive an im- mediate advance of 300 pounds (WOO) on new municipal gradings, scheduled to go into effect soon.
