ATLANTIC CITY (JTA) — The
Minstrels Take IC ?.r. at 1964 State Fair
Moving into the final fib days
and nights of what already has
been tabbed as one of the greatest
in history, the 115th annual Mich-
igan State Fair will present many
of its greatest attractions of the
entire 10-day run.
Headlining the last five pro-
grams are the New Christy Min-
istrels, a folk-singing group who
boast two notable achievements—
they introduced the hootenanny at
the White House and on Broad-
way early this year. They took
over the stage of the music' shell
starting Thursday and have the
top billing for the remainder of
the fair.
Until the midnight close on
Labor Day, the fair will present
more outstanding events than at
any previous period during the
first half of the 10-day run.
Just as the world cannot be with-
out winds, so cannot the world be
without Jews.—Abodah Zarah 10.
